The company BGV, s.r.o. was founded in 2001 and its main activity is the production of ethyl alcohol – spirit in a modern, high-performance grain distillery. The distillery continues its rich tradition of producing distillates and spirits in northern Spiš. The excellent level of fermentation and state-of-the-art technology of the distillation and rectification equipment, as well as precise quality control and high professionalism of the employees are a guarantee of stable production of the highest quality spirit. The stable portfolio of our customers consists of major liqueurs throughout Europe, pharmaceutical and food companies, manufacturers of car cosmetics, packaging films and many other industrial enterprises.
Distillery
The BGV, s.r.o. distillery is one of the most modern grain distilleries in Central Europe. The plant is located near the town of Stará Ľubovňa, whose distilling tradition dates back to the 18th century. We are the largest producers of food spirit in Slovakia. Since 2008, we have also been engaged in the production of whiskey and grain distillates. The plant can also produce anhydrous spirit using molecular sieves. The capacity of the storage tanks is approximately 2,500 m3. We have an accredited testing laboratory for the analysis of spirit and spirits. Our experienced truck drivers and logistics experts ensure reliable transport directly to our customers.
