The company BGV, s.r.o. was founded in 2001, and its main activity is the production of ethanol – alcohol in a modern, high-performance grain distillery. The distillery continues the rich tradition of producing spirits and liquors in the northern Spiš region. The excellent level of fermentation, cutting-edge rectification distillation technology, along with precise quality control and the high expertise of our employees, guarantees stable production of the highest quality alcohol. Our stable portfolio of clients includes renowned liquor producers across Europe, pharmaceutical and food companies, manufacturers of car care products, packaging films, and many other industrial enterprises.

The Most Modern

Distillery

The distillery of BGV, s.r.o. is one of the most modern grain distilleries in Central Europe. The plant is located near the town of Stará Ľubovňa, where the distilling tradition dates back to the 18th century. We are the largest producer of food-grade alcohol in Slovakia. Since 2008, we have also been producing whiskey and grain spirits. The plant is capable of producing anhydrous alcohol using molecular sieves. The capacity of the storage tanks is approximately 2500 m3. We have an accredited testing laboratory for the analysis of alcohol and spirits. Our experienced transport drivers and logistics experts ensure reliable delivery directly to our customers.
