Distillery
Nestville
The distilling plant’s production programme focuses on bottling whisky and making other spirits by maceration. In 2010 and 2011, the company underwent a major change when its production facilities were upgraded. A plant for bottling whisky and other spirits was built. The name Nestville Distillery was introduced. In 2012, we started bottling the first Slovak whisky.
There are three bottling lines in the distillery: a bottling line for 0.04–0.05 litre bottles (miniature bottles), a manual bottling line for small batches of products, and a fully automated line for 0.2 litre and larger bottles. The line is made up of several parts: spraying equipment, a filling and capping block, a labelling machine, and stacking and packing equipment. The production line has a maximum capacity of 5,000 bottles per hour.
process
The bottling process begins by placing the bottles on a conveyor belt. The bottles are sprayed with 40% alcohol before they are filled to ensure that the bottle is clean and to prevent water from getting into the bottle. The bottles are then filled and capped. Once capped, bottles enter the labelling machine, where the labels and inspection mark are applied. Finally, a loader puts the bottles in the collection carton. We produce in the region of 10–15,000 bottles per day.
